This 1932 Philco Model 43 is really special in Philco's production history. First model that could receive all four radio bands used at that time, three HF and AM. The dial light physically moves up or down when choosing bands by a slide mechanism. Set was state of the art in at time and was unfortunately produced at the worst time during the great depression. I assume that not a lot of these were sold due to the depression or even still around after 80 plus years. Highly receptive set and has a full rich sound. Great care taken to preserve the originality. The casing is original with only minor repairs to the veneer. The veneer on the right side of the radio has a ripple. It has not been refinished but cleaned and waxed. Original capacitor casings used to hide new caps. The chassis was only dusted off to preserve look. Original model sticker still intact. A "keeper" for any serious collector. Not original grille cloth but exact reproduction of original.  Casing measures 18"H x 17"W x 12"D. Feel free to contact me with questions.

Sorry, it is sold. We can repair one if needed.
