RCA Model 65
A real sharp RCA table top. I have seen a few of these but this particular set just came together nicely. It has recieved Third Bay Radio's full restoration and it shows. This is one sharp little radio and is ready for years of use.
Work Done
Resistors have been checked and all capacitors have been replaced. A new polarized power plug has been installed for safety. Tubes tested strong and chassis cleaned and polished. Dial face is in good shape along with original knobs.
Good Points on radio
NO cracks in case and bakelite casing still has a good gloss coat. Original knobs, dial, and case are in good shape. It plays great and is highly sensitive with its original antenna. Its size is not quit a "midget" but smaller than the average table top set. It is a great size and is a real eye catcher. Nice solid little set.
Bad Points on radio
No back to radio. There is a scratch on the top of case towards the rear. Not really noticable but still there. See pictures.
