Silvertone Model 6050
This is one good looking radio. This set was made in 1947 and has the fourth and last chassie version of this model radio, 132.825-4. See tag on chassie in picture. The case is 8" high, 14" wide, and 71/4" deep. One solid good sounding set.
Work Done
This radio has been completely restored back to its glory. The radio has been completely recapped along with replacement of some warn resistors. A new polarized power plug was installed along with quality electrolytic capacitors to provide years of service. Tubes tested good and chassis was polished. Knobs were polished, original to set, and in great shape. knobs still have indented lettering on them indicating volume, tone, and tunning. Case was stripped by hand and refinished to its original color scheme using high quality Mohawk lacquer paints. Original dial face and cover cleaned and polished. New rubber pulley was hand made and installed for better tuning action. This radio has had the complete Third Bay Radios make over and is ready for many years of use. Good Points on radio
All around an impressive radio. Its distinct look is eye catching and its metal art deco bezel puts it over the top. The new finish on it does not take away from the radio. Your eyes still go right to the bezel and dial. The new finish only adds to it. The knobs are in perfect shape and have a great glaze to them still. The original dial cover is slightly yellowed which nicely adds to the overall look of the radio. It is highly sensitive with just its built in antenna and its rich tone can be adjusted for more or less treble. Real nice set.
Bad Points on radio
Metal chassis is missing bottom cover. Not really missed and works great without it anyway. Not original grill cloth. Not original finish, but correct color scheme and lacquer was used.

I stand behind my work and have a 30 day warrantee on labor NOT PARTS. That means if it breaks in 30 days I will do my best to fix it but you pay for new parts and shipping costs. I do NOT think this is even needed. Please keep in mind this is a really old radio and does not sound or act like a modern radio. It is a show piece and should be treated as such.
