Celebrate The Golden Age Of Radio Today.
This amazing Zenith tabletop was in really bad shape when we got our hands on it for a restoration. It was stored in a garage and the wood casing was badly damaged due to exposure to the eliments. The veneer was pealing off almost everywhere, a bad crack had split the top curve, and the front wood was seperating from water damage. Internally somone had tried to substitute a TV transformer for the power transformer and also broke a tube socket by forcing the wrong tube in place. So with lots of labor, veneer, glue, sand paper, and new parts it came back to life. Please take a close look at the pictures to see the extent of work that was involved to get it looking and performing great again.
